La posizione è comoda perché è a due passi dalla Medina, ma in una zona non troppo rumorosa.
Tutte le mattine ci veniva servita una colazione tipica preparata al momento.

L’établissement est au top, le personnel serviable et l’ambiance est familiale. Nous avons passer une semaine dans le Riad, il est littéralement situé à 2 min à pied de la place jama El fna.

Buena ubicacion del apartamento y muy bien por dentro, tambien destacar el personal muy majos, sobre todo Abdel era el mejor.

We have been 4 Friends in the Riad for a day due to a Road trip over Marruecos and Marrakaseh was in our way. The attention of the recepcionist Zouhair was great, assisting with a big smile to any of our request and questions. The location is good, the breakfast is more than aceptable with pancakes, bread and diferents kind of pasteries. The terrace on the top is quite nice too. Once we back in Marrakesh to fly to Madrid we will stay a couple of night more.

Incredibly friendly people, nice rooms, delicious breakfast, good location, perfect tansportation to airport...we've spent a fabulous time at Riad Balkisse!
Mustafa and his team were always there to answer any question and helped with restaurant reservations.

Nice location 3 minutes from Jemma el-fna. Easy to find with instructions provided. Everyday new towels and bed sheets. Everyday sweet breakfast (different pancake, bread, jam, honey, coffee, cake). Nice atmosphere and clean riad. Good comunication in english. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a Marrakech map with some advices. Allways someone from the staff was avalible. I recomend rooms on the higher level. One thing which we don't like was the motorbikes noise in late evening and cleaning person in the early morning everyday, both on 'the street'. But it is not riad fault.

Immediately upon arrival we felt like home. The host was super-friendly and welcoming. Explained everything thoroughly and showed us to our room.
The room was clean and a good standard. The window was smaller, but we didn’t mind that as we were planning on saying in the room mostly at night, not during the day. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was new, but it was clean and definitely value for the money.
The breakfast we received was very tasty and just right in terms of the amount of food.
We would definitely recommend this riad as it is on the edge of the Médina, so close to everything but not in the maze of the old town.

If you’re in Marrakesh and you’re looking for a home away from home, go for this place!

We spent three nights in this riad in marrakech, and we were very pleased with the hotel.
The riad is very close to the city center (5 mins walk to yamaa el fna)
The hotel staff were always very close and reacheble, and they even had a great detail to put some flowers and a message at the room for free (it was a surprise)

I stayed at the Riad for 4 nights - the Riad is clean, all your basic necessities like hot water, clean bathroom, neatly made up room etc, are more than taken care of. Location wise, its pretty close (3 minutes walk) from Djema El Fna which gives you a whole lot of eating options etc. Sukhina and Mustafa and the rest of the team are eager to please - in fact, Sukhina went out of her way to organize a pick up from the Marrakech train station etc.

Stayed at Riad Balkisse for a couple of nights and our stay here was worthwhile. Great location, very close to the square and within walking distance to places.

The staff were very nice,accommodating, and helpful. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis,however, the best thing about this place is the food! Home made tagine for lunch/dinner ... what more can one ask for in Morocco? I will be definitely be staying here again!

The location of the hotel was very good and for Marrakesh in a good street to find the hotel (the city is like a labyrinth). I used the hotel for only one night as a stop in Marrakesh. The hotel is very close to the main square and you have lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room is rather small and not super equipped, is very simple but for the price and for one night was ok.
The room was really small for two people and they have cats so not really convenient for people like me having allergy.

Comfortable Riad. The manager, Simon (or Shimon perhaps?) was very helpful and communicative when trying to book in advance. They had working wifi and a cozy little terrace for breakfast. Quite close to the Jema el Fna and areas with many other restaurants.

A very convenient and quiet location, a block from the Jamaa-el-Fna with all its activity, shops, restaurants, street life. Lovely roof-top lounge area for rest, reading, a beer, a chat. Friendly, helpful staff. To help a taxi driver from the train station find Riad Balkisse, tell him it's located just behind the Hopital Riad al Mokha.

Nice place, friendly staff and close to the centre of the city. We would return every time again when looking for a place to stay in Marrakech. Pick up from airport worked out as agreed. Pick up good for first time in Marrakech, as a bit hidden.

If you are interested in visiting the Medina and Jamaa El Fnaa, that's the place. The Riad is on a quite tricky street and goes through a narrow passage, but it's Marrakech after all. The place has a nice terrace, where you can spend some nice late evenings. I booked initially the rooms on the last floor, especially for this, but when we arrived there, it was not available any more. It was only for a day, but to move up and down on the narrow stairs with luggage is not easy. It was not nice, but we hoped in the next days it would be solved. Unfortunately it was not, even though second time I payed in advance. Problem is the room on the ground floor, called Banafsaj is really noisy. You can hear everything in the street. The last 2 days we slept in the upper rooms which were great. Overall, a good location for visiting the Medina, services could improve.

The riad was really difficult to find as we hired a car, but to be honest I think that's Marrakesh, overall the stay was pleasant enough although we only stayed briefly. The riad was suitable enough for our needs,

A little worn in places but a great deal so nothing to complain about the breakfast was just enough to start the day.

Just spent 7 nights at an amazing Marrakech Riad. It is clean, comfortable, air conditioned and very close to Jamaa El Fnaa (approx. 5 minute walk). Cars cannot get to the front door but our airport transfer AtoB called the Riad and a member of Riad staff met us and helped with the luggage. The riad itself is close to hotel Tazi and close to the hospital Mocha which are a good reference point when using taxis. The Riad is in the medina and close to most of the tourist attractions, main square, medrasa ben Youssef, palace, Koutoubia Mosque and souk.

We had three rooms, two doubles and one twin. We were on the first floor and the roof. All rooms were clean, with daily room service and new linen. The rooms were enquire with private bathroom. The only downside is that there was no fridge or tea making facilities in the rooms.

The staff were very helpful and helped to organise excursions at a very good price. We had an excursion booked to Essaouira and ouzad waterfalls both were significantly cheaper than others on the same trip. The price matched the cheapest we had obtained ourselves.

We had booked bed and breakfast. Breakfast consisted of bread, jam, butter, tea or coffee, orange juice, pastry and mint tea which set us up very nicely for the day.

There are no lifts but the stairs are manageable. The location was very good, being less than 5 minutes from cash machines, money exchange and shopping.

Riad does meals which we booked on our final day. meal was excellent. Staff were all great and helpful and reception staff spoke good English.

First impressions was a very clean and tidy Riad . Maid service was brilliant and very efficient with the cleaning staff friendly. Room was a double room with old furniture and was roomy but was nice place helpful people, very close to elfana mosque good for short stay i will go back for sure be careful with exchange offices around

Top Service Thanks to Mohamed & Simo! Enjoyful 3 days at this very LocalTalk Riad. Very clean and quiet rooms. 5 Minute to the Grand bazar . We had the rooms at the teras. Lovely place to relax After a Travel around the City. Lot of greetings from Germany.

Excellent location minutes away from the main square and many other sights. Daily breakfast was delicious and made fresh every morning. Riad itself was very clean. Staff were always available and willing to help. Overall, great stay in Marrakech at Riad Balkisse!

Quite and nice ...place and stuff. Near to Mosque el fna. The same time very quite and elegant riad. Food is tipucal Moroccan very delicious and home made. And price i think is good.
