A very convenient and quiet location, a block from the Jamaa-el-Fna with all its activity, shops, restaurants, street life. Lovely roof-top lounge area for rest, reading, a beer, a chat. Friendly, helpful staff. To help a taxi driver from the train station find Riad Balkisse, tell him it's located just behind the Hopital Riad al Mokha.

The hotel has a nice ambience with red and wooden accents, and it's situated 5-10 mins walk from many main tourist sites like Jemaa el-Fna market, Bahia Palace, Secret Garden etc. Staff, especially Hajar, Mohamed and Oussama were always there to help, guide, book a tour, and always be polite and smiling. The chef was always making great breakfasts and lunches (prepare yourself to be well fed!) Overall, amazing experience, highly recommend!

The breakfast was very nice and filling (although quite sweet in my opinion), and the staff was kind and always ready to help. We felt very welcome at the place. The original blanket was quite thin, but we found extra blankets in the wardrobe that were definitely enough. Location is great, and easily accessible from the Jmaa El Fna square!

The staff were very friendly, Hajar, Ousama, and matin are great hosts easy to get a long with and accommodate to your needs, and the lovely cooks who made us breakfast too, it was delicious! Hotel staff can really make your trip a lot better!

I stayed at the Riad for 4 nights - the Riad is clean, all your basic necessities like hot water, clean bathroom, neatly made up room etc, are more than taken care of. Location wise, its pretty close (3 minutes walk) from Djema El Fna which gives you a whole lot of eating options etc. Sukhina and Mustafa and the rest of the team are eager to please - in fact, Sukhina went out of her way to organize a pick up from the Marrakech train station etc.
